For 100 years, visitors and neighbors have stood side-by-side and enjoyed the treasured beach in Cape Charles. Breezy summer days are spent splashing in the warm bay waters, taking in sweeping views, laughing, and playing. Sometimes we drift away for a little nap. At day's end, we watch the sun set over our mercurial bay water under plum-colored skies. The salty air brings hints of wild daisy, gardenia and dune grass.
